Restaurant Papa Jackie - Saint-Lambert

Our Thursday evening meal group decided to go for papa jackie on a good recommendation. we had eaten there about 16 months ago and were not impressed. they told us they had a new menu and were renovated. our group of 14 was accepted at two tables, because they had no surface for a group. eating was okay, but pretty bland. the price was high and the food was so. we do not come back

Have been there many times before renovation nicely done.However portions are downsized and prices are up 40% . Quality of food not the same .Hot and sour soup was $8 before with lots of shrimp now it is $11 with no shrimp in sight that...is one example of many.Will not return. Might as well eat fast food .

We have had Papa Jackie 's food many times before the renovation. This was the 1st time since the big reno. What an improvement!! Picked up take out for a birthday celebration. I am sure they have excellent real Chinese food as evidenced by the dining...in patrons. I, on the other hand, was having Canadian Chinese dishes. First issue is there was no delivery even tho ' the menu says delivery. Small issue since we live close by. Secondly the food quality has deteriorated. I base this on the fact that the vegetables were clearly frozen not fresh. That 's a BIG deal to me. I can get fast food with fresh veg cheaper. Also the General Tao was 80% coating with very little chicken.

Once considered as one of the best Chinese restaurants in greater montreal, now under Covid-19 restrictions only with takeout and delivery. the quality of food is on the bottom and inconsistent.

I ordered the crab with seasonal vegetables! what I had was not what I thought it was described! it says seasonal vegetables and what I had was spinat drowned with what looks like crabs in a dose and water! it was badly packed and the...presentation is absolutely ridiculous
