Stoped in for a brunch and really enjoyed the eggs with smoked ham and the Belgian-style corned beef hash like saut vlees with a great grilled whole wheat baguette. I was self-conscious of my lack of French but I was made to feel welcome and my server guided m through the menu. Located right along the canal, I had a window seat on a bright day. What gaetan v doesn't like about Manneken-Pis:
This is an insult to our culinary knowledge. This place is over rate. 5 raisins grape and a small sandwich with nothing in it for 14.00$ if you just put 5 raisin grape as a side order just put nothing its seems that you don't have any respect for your clienteles. Same for the people that were with me. A big deception. This place is over rate in St Jean. View all feedback.

Took the family here for lunch and had great service (although better if you know French) and great food. My wife and I had salads and they were huge with lots of fresh lettuce. A little pricy but it was good. I would definitely go here again.
This is just beside the Chambly canal where you can take a walk between it and the river. A wonderful restaurant with a varied menu. Delicious toasted vegetarian baguette with fruit with Lavender Tea. It was very busy, I felt I was in Belgium for the day as everyone was speaking French and waitresses were in local dress. Also able to purchase all types of teas and freshly roasted coffee.
Food service are excellent. Charming location, allowing you to walk by the river where they have a beautiful promenade. Live in NY but always go there when I visit my family in St-Jean.
