I had a fantastic 5-star experience at this restaurant. During our 5-day vacation, we visited three times! We enjoyed a wine tasting that took us through the vineyards, and then we returned for two additional days to explore the deli market for a picnic. I’ve also discovered my new favorite wine—Regina! Once you've gathered your goodies, you can head outside to their picnic area, which has plenty of picnic tables and benches. The scenery is beautiful, with lovely trees and grassy spots, making it a truly enjoyable experience. Over the past 20 years, they’ve made significant improvements, focusing more on picnicgoers and adding more parking and seating. They sell both their standard wines and offer master classes, ma... One of the best spots in napa. many rooms to sit, relax, roam, and make photos. huge business with wine, gifts, cheese, chocolate, las-to-eat foods and more. wine tasting, high times, special events and family fun. this winery is quite full of people who can not get their alcohol and those who can. many places to sit and toilets are clean and tidy.
Great wines! The person who assisted me was Carlo, he knew the wines to perfection. He asked me a couple of questions and he knew exactly which wines I would like. I enjoyed the place and almost all the wines except for the desert one, I didn't like it. I ended up tasting about 10 different wines and i was only supposed to taste 6 I believe. You also get two chocolates while wine tasting. The place has sandwiches which are make there while you look at it. The parking lot was full and it was free however I was told that you need reservations, which I already had but I thought you may like to know if you never been there. One can also get married here the place has a little area for the ceremony and reception. It has beautiful white roses, green grass, and it also has a patio area with benches where you can enjoy your sandwich and more wine of your choice. Some people were dress to impress I wear jeans, white t-shirt and sandals. ?? the bathrooms were clean, the place itself was clean. Enjoy and have fun!
V. Sattui is in close proximity to other stellar wineries, and that’s pretty much the view on their wines. We typically stop at this place for lunch as it offers a nice break from the grind of Napa. The wines are horrendous, and are equivalent to sewer water across all the different brands. I would rather drink ink squid water laced with lead then ever drink one of their wines. The market is excellent however and offers the balance needed between horrible wines and food.Come here for the food. Skip the wine.a2 stars because the food is good and it’s become an amusement park.
V. Sattui is one of the original wineries and referred by many as one man 's dream so it was good to see it but I wouldn 't do the tasting again as it felt like you are sitting in the middle of a souvenir shop with bunch of people walking around. It 's definitely SUPER touristy and very loud. I fell into this tourist trap as all the photos looked absolutely beautiful, and the reviews were great. Don 't get me wrong, the grounds and the castle are very pretty, the staff is super knowledgeable and friendly and the wine is not bad. They do have a deli where you can buy some food and do your own picnic outside.
This is one of my very favorite wineries in Napa, I like that they have such an open space and it was easy for us to find a picnic table for my family and I. I really do enjoy that. I'm able to take my teenage daughter and also get her a bottle of grape juice that looks like wine. That way she gets to be part of the experience with us. I kind of do wish that they let us bring in our own food, but being that they have such a large selection in their deli, I'm okay with the fact that I can't. Hence why I still gave them five stars. My favorite wine is the Gamay Rouge and Muscat. Absolutely delicious. It's a perfect wine to start a novice wine drinker. Looking forward to my next visit again.
