Visited for a beer on a nice sunny day, friendly welcome from the lady owner? who explained all the beers on offer to us from a great selection, we got our beer... read more Visited for a beer on a nice sunny day, friendly welcome from the lady owner? who explained all the beers on offer to us from a great selection, we got our beers and sat outside, then ended up inviting 4 friends to join us who were nearby, everyone enjoyed their beers, we were all outside until a friendly local informed us it was to rain in 20 minutes which after 10 minutes it did, got a table inside very busy with locals enjoying their food and drinks. Great atmosphere inside, the owners interact with everyone so you are guaranteed a great welcome here. Well worth a visit here . : :

It tries to be an old english pub with worn out wooden tables and creaky chairs but very popular as the drinks are reasonably priced and service is fine. Not the place to take someone for your anniversary but good for a pub casual style drink before moving on for the evening.
