Yet again a wonderful meal the steak is still the best we have had anywhere. The staff are still as wonderful and friendly, in fact we were remembered from last year!! Hopefully for a good reason!! There is a wonderful family atmosphere, small children are welcome. Either they need to open a restaurant in our home town in the UK or I will be moving here just so I can visit more frequently!! What User doesn't like about Tarte aux Prunes:
View all feedback.
We were so glad we found this restaurant next to our stay on the campsite. The location was beautiful by the sea and the waitress was efficient and welcoming. We ordered the Moules as all reviews said they were extraordinary and they were, but the meal was left by the chips that were served with them, they were the worst chips we have ever seen and cooked in old dark oil. Nothing like the pictures they show on their ad.
This is the place to eat the best tarts in the world it also sells chips what more do you want from a lovely cafe called Tarte aux Prunes for the English please stay at home instead of belittling a place where heaven is made
Other than tarte aux prunes was unable to offer even bread and cheese or oysters mussels, the lady who I took to be the owner appeared to have been supping the wine leaning over me telling me how long the place had been in the family etc but could still only offer the plum tart or chips ,as it was only about 1pm a bit of a poor show , we had visited it a few times in the past not that we ever thought much of it ,it was just about half way on our daily cycle ride, we go a bit further now and stop for our lunch.
