Very smiling, very welcoming and very nice personal. added to this succulent and quality dishes!
There are new owners since my first review of this place so I thought it worth doing again. It's run by a wonderful, friendly couple from Brittany, the origin of galettes, so they know what they're doing! They do a set menu each day that isn't galette, so you have choice, but I never have anything other than galette because I love them! We have enjoyed everything we've tried from the menu but special mention must go to the Forestiere and the Norvegienne, which are both very special. Some days they have a fantastic sausage one too. The deserts range from a plain but perfectly executed crepe to a fabulous creation with salted caramel, ice cream and all sorts of things! Try a bowl of cider with your meal as it's the traditional drink from Brittany. It's lovely, very appley cider. They're mostly only open at lunchtimes, between 12pm and 1:30pm but maybe some evenings you can check the notice on the door! Excellent value for money, lovely, cosy decor indoors for cold days and a terrace for warm ones, a warm welcome, and delicious galettes!
Popular, busy when it's open (lunchtimes but not every day) and delicious galettes simple but well made. Excellent value.
