La Locomotive is the life and soul of St Denis, run by two brilliant people, Alice and Stefan who run the village shop, organise wonderful concerts, run the bar and restaurant. We cannot recommend too highly. Lovely atmosphere, beautiful outside area, amazing furniture, delicious food. And high standards of cleanliness! View all feedback.

You have to ask for the menu of the day and to make reservation 3 days in advance!!!! Very unfriendly owners...never again!
A place where all generations cling in the good mood. It's family. The theme or musical evenings are animated and over the weeks the meals are varied: couscous, paëlla or tapas served generously and with the smile of alice as a bonus. It's a faultless course for stephane and alice.
Nice place we stopped there to make some provision very friendly place. certain products are local!
What a pleasure to fall on such a place!!!!!!!!! we have been looking for a place where lunch to be missed and finally in the surroundings because...February is not a good month for restaurateurs (all is closed). Practically desperate and our delayed visits...we fell by chance.... on a sacred place... at the same time grocery, bar, local snack (and that bears its name!) with terraces, children's space...petanque, baby football, billiards! a natural and warm welcome...well friendly...that goes back to the moral...normal when you meet pretty people! We have prepared two plates: one with local products (cuterie) and another sausage (a delica) and a salad....EXCELLENT ! all this for a little over 10 euros the plate! I ate better than in the medieval city! and we asked for the little aperitif, the fresh water carafe on the table...What natural and simplicity! bravo, my biggest shame... I was so good. And launched in the conversation... that I forgot the tip!
