Found by accident we are English the restaurant staff all French made us very welcome. Unusual it has all sorts of old items around the bar and restaurant area ancient cameras old Disney cartoon pictures old telephones etc. Food good not quick but freshly cooked....Very reasonable prices. We visit Saint Brieuc often and will now be regular visitors. They do lunch and evening meals. View all feedback.
What Nicole Boucher doesn't like about L'Horizon:
We reached it on the basis of TA reviews and where something dissapointed. The food felt like it had been prepared for the day before we had a green salad with Andouille and a warm Camembert with mushrooms. The Andouille was excellent, the Camembert was tasty....We also had a beef kewer and a chick breast wrapped in bacon both edible, but hardly unforgettable. We also had the house red wine. For our first steps in Brittany we were looking for a restaurant offering fresh fish and products after consultation on tripadvisor and exchange with the restaurateur we went there warm tasty meals a point of honor chef works mainly with local producers whose names are mentioned on the map in front of the dishes offered bravo for transparency have been well eaten have spent a good time the place denotes it worth the detour professional team that do not take
We ate this day in this restaurant with atypical decoration. we took the dessert flat-entry menu for a very reasonable price compared to the quality of the products. We got out of the breakfast repus. very pleasant reception, the children had something to take care of with all the decoration! To be done.
Positive points - the reception - the atmosphere - the originality of the decoration in the veranda - the home fact with quality products negative points - the amateurism shouting in the kitchen- the slightly burgundy side near the bar (not very engaging)In short: advising those who favor a family atmosphere to a good cuisine.
