Die Karte ist überschaubar und ansprechend (ich persönlich mag keine all zu grossen Karten, da ich sonst... read more Wir waren mit der Familie zum Abendessen im Optimist'. Die Karte ist überschaubar und ansprechend (ich persönlich mag keine all zu grossen Karten, da ich sonst zweifeln muss ob wirklich alles frisch ist). Ausserdem findet man für jedes Budget etwas auf der Karte (von Snacks bis Froschschenkeln). Ich hatte das Tartar welches wirklich göttlich ist und welches ich in der Variante scharf unbedingt empfehlen kann. Für einen lauen Sommerabend am See die perfekte location! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder :-)

Petite carte mais diversifiée, tout le monde y trouve son compte. Service sympa et accueillant. Présentation soignée et plats excellents et que dire du café gourmand...Un vrai régal ! Très bonne adresse pour un restaurant sans prétention, nous y retournerons volontiers si nous sommes à nouveau dans la région.

The view and atmosphere are divine, which adds to the overall outstanding dining experience. Don't get me started on the wine list. The owners definitely know what they are talking about.

The menu is simple: bur... read more I hesitated a lot what to rate this restaurant. I finally decided for average since indeed the food is good and worths to be recognized. The menu is simple: burgers, perches, salads but tasty. What ruined it for me were 2 things. First the wait: for a burger, a pasta plate and a faux fillet we waited 1 hour, after waiting 10 min to be seated and another 10 to have our order taken. Yes the terrace was full but i think it had something to do also with having only 2 people attending all tables for everything. I have never waited in my life so much for a child menu (the pasta they usually come very fast. The second reason is more worrying in the current context of required social distancing and hygiene norms. Practically there is none in this place. I had plenty of time to observe it as i was waiting( . New customers asked to sit at tables full of leftovers from previous ones. Tables not wiped at all. Waiters picking up everything by hand including money and not once in my 2 hours spent there using the desinfectant which is indeed provided in the middle of the terrace. Dessert menus passed from table to table not wiped. Net an unpleasant experience all in all. Really a pity as this place has potential with the location and the nice flavours.

We were here in July and I think it is primar... read more Great location and good food. A lot of seats at the lakeside and consequently a very nice view on lake Neufchâtel. We were here in July and I think it is primarily a summer place, seating inside is limited. The service was “ok”, I.e. friendly but not too attentive (we had to signal ourselves when we wanted something) and not super fast. To be fair the place was full and they only had two waiters. Food quality is good but portions are on the smaller side, also the place is not cheap (but normal for Neufchâtel area). But given the Ambiente and view we had a great evening. We would come back mainly for ambience and the view.
