Auberge Aux Petits Paves - Saint-Andiol

My elders have booked an evening meal in this restaurant and we all went as family with my husband and our children. while the personal was attentive and friendly, as other reviews mentioned, there were unfortunately numerous rats about our table (in the wood structure above our table). very lively and very huge. the owner seemed surprised and said they had a contract with a Rodent removal. the food was in order, but the anesthesia of rodents in the yard ruined it for me. I regret that I stayed to dinner despite the obvious anesthesia of rodents.

Very good food and very large portions - we had too much. Nice terrace with very friendly and nice staff.

Staying in a local "gite" we tried this restaurant , without doubt one of the highlights of our holiday. A table reserved earlier in the day was well placed and we had a very attentive team of people looking after us as well as the other diners. Our 25 euro menu / meal order was taken in a relaxed and pleasant way the food was gorgeous and well worth the money. Wine at 9 euros a pichet. The patron welcomed us and at the end of the evening thanked us for using his restaurant. "Facilities" were all being modernised to a high standard on our visit . Complementing them on the ceramic serving tray we were given directions to the local potter who had made it. A memorable evening. Too late in our break to repeat but if in the area again would certainly go again.

We went in 2011 on our motorcycles. Stopped here by accident. Met the best people now we are friends for life. Food amazing Fredrich the owner chef. Renald the gardener we drank wine and pastice for 3 days WOW!!!!! Went back with my wife in 2012 same deal welcomming and friendly. Going back on bike alone in 2015 staying here for 2 weeks. Paves is clean, welcomming, friendly and very popular with the locals and the local Gendarmiere. Felt safe Ha!. Would recommend it to all for all and priced accordingly. French Cuisine is as good as best restaurants in Paris. Loved it could live here. Cheers all good travelling. Niko Australia.

We've stayed at the Auberge Aux Petits Paves on several occasions in the past years and have always enjoyed it. Nice basic rooms and a big lush garden where one can enjoy an excellent dinner. Staff is friendly and helpful. All at a reasonable price.
