Lona's Lil Eats - Saint Albans

I love lonas maybe my favorite restaurant in the st. louis area! I always get the big thai wrap and the side of the aubergine that is delicious. sometimes they run out of the rice paper packs that can be disappointing ... but it is also fantastic to prepare them over glass noodles, which I would recommend in this situation! their terrace is great on summer night and they should definitely try out the soaking machine that are different than regular ol’ coke. I really like the cherry, but the others are also good. I would not miss out on the unqualified recommendation when they visit or live in st. louis!

I was curious to visit lonas first time and try some of their rice paper packed creations. Unfortunately, the night I visited was fled from rice paper! yes, really. I ordered the spicy tofu wrap (on a tortilla, unfortunately) with spicy aubergines and a series of mushroom noodles. the tofu wrap was good, tortilla and everything. delicious mix of aromen with the seasoned, the cilantro, the sweet cauliflower. I bet it's even better on rice paper. the noodles were also addicted. savory, with a spicy sauce. either article would have been alone. I appreciated the dedication to minimise waste by putting aside the shrubs to be washed and reused. I'm not sure I'm serving everything on metzgerpapier, but okay.

The first time and they said they were made of rice paper, I took the proposed tortilla and steak dumplings too. the dumplings are delicious! my new favorite dumplings safe. the chicken thai wrap was delicious and very big! I have the glass noodles as the side, also delicious! this place is wonderful and I come back this week!

Great food, wonderful staff, super cool space. First thing we were asked was if we had any restrictions! Which I do, so I appreciate that they then went over what I could and couldn’t have. Love a place that cares so much about its patrons!

Hidden gem in the city! If you are looking for fresh food at a fair price with incredible flavor and a wonderful atmosphere, Lona’s is the place be. Ordered the lemongrass turkey…is was a rice paper burrito with a perfect amount of spice.
