What Mads Hermans doesn't like about The 7th Street Standard:
The food left a lot to be desired for the price. Over salted salmon. The prime rib was rare and way to lean. The service and atmosphere were great but can’t make up for the kitchen. View all feedback.
Visit the opposite of sacramento and searched for a brunch place on Tuesday and found this place cute art deco resto and eating was really good
Went to support downtown dining week. We both chose from the 45 three course meals. Portions were very small and food was mediocre.
We had a great meal at the 7th Street Standard. Service was outstanding from the hostess, to the bussing staff, and especially our server. The meal was wonderful prepared and cooked perfectly, beautifully presented, and with great flavors. Well Done!
We unexpectedly made reservations during Dine Downtown so we opted for the prix fix menu. Everything from the apps to the service was spot on. Manuel was attentive, friendly and knocked it out of the park with recommendations (drinks and menu items for my husband who opted not to do the Dine Downtown menu). 7th street was on par with Michelin restaurants based on food, quality and service.
The food was great. I love the decor. The staff was really wonderful. We will be back.
