Tucked away in a random part of the city, right next to a Target and a cemetery, this restaurant was easy to overlook. I had been driving by for a while without realizing it was there until I came across it online. View all feedback.
What Shirley P doesn't like about Riverside Clubhouse:
The food was wonderful but the place is so sad the whole entire time when I walked in to walking out nobody smiled at all for any reason I'm looking all over the restaurant to see if anybody's going to smile I understand it's across from the graveyard but dang I won't go there again the vibe was so dead I mean really. We took my parents to dinner and decided to sit out on the patio because the weather was perfect! Our server was super sweet, and we really enjoyed everything about our experience For me, the French dip sandwich I ordered was the best!!!Food: 5/5
Second time going there and I just love it. Great drinks, amazing food, friendly servers fair prices. The appetizers are so good we get at least 3 of them lol. I'm so full when I leave but it's so worth it!Food: 5/5
This is the first time back after several years. I think it's new ownership. Food and service was really good. Not the most expansive menu but everyone (8 of us) got something they enjoyed and devoured. Drinks were reasonable too. A little loud only because they're busy on a Friday evening. But always loved the design, indoor/outdoor. Great for Sacramento summer evenings!Parking: Smaller parking lot, residential street parking with time restrictions.
We ordered food to go last weekend, and it was just so very disappointing. It was a rather large order for 8 people. While they do have online ordering available, I did end up calling in my order as there were a few item on their menu that were not listed on the online order portal. The person taking my order was through and friendly, as was the gentleman who helped me when I arrived. Unfortunately the food was not good. My husband ordered the fish and chips. Not only were the pieces very small, but the fish was horribly dry. We had 3 kids in our party who all ordered the kid chicken tender/finger meals. The chicken was a very thin, very dry, and over fried panko crusted chicken. The kids barely even touched it (and I have a bunch of eaters). The beet salad was probably the best looking/tasting item that was ordered. We used to frequent Riverside Clubhouse quite often, but won't be back after this experience.
