What Adriana Estévez doesn't like about Oshima Sushi:
The ambiance was festive. The 49ers were playing so the bar was packed with fans. The food was prompt. The Wings had a little heat to them but they were not really seasoned. 12 wings for $18.50The chicken teriyaki ala carte order was small for $17. Lots of little fatty pieces. Rolls ordered the Caterpillar (not pictured), The Dragon (not pictured),The Scooby Doo, Salmon skin (not pictured),and The table favorite was... View all feedback.
Great place for sushi and sports. The staff is really friendly. I strongly recommend to get the sushi boats they are totally worth it.
The food was great. It was a little bit pricey and the lunch menu was very limited. I gotta come for dinner next time because the dinner menu looks more extensive and had more variety. I decided to come here after reading reviews for the place I always ordered on door dash and finding out some unsavory information. One of the reviews specifically mentioned that they were grateful Oshima was only down the street, so I decided to give them a try instead. The restaurant was clean and the staff was very kind and upbeat. My dad (who does not like sushi but foolishly just ordered what I did, even though I love it) actually placed a second order halfway into the meal and they were very gracious about it. They didn't act annoyed or put upon at all, and were able to bring it out relatively quickly. I'm usually a little stingy with the tip, but they took good care of us so I was more than happy to be more generous. My only complaint is that they don't have physical menus. They just placed down 2 QR codes that download the food menu and beverage menu onto your phone. It was a little inconvenient because scrolling around the tiny font on your phone screen is a bit of a pain as opposed to having a proper menu in your hand to look at. The hostess also didn't actually tell us that was what they were for. I just figured it out when they never brought menus. So, if we were older or smart phone illiterate, we might not have ever figured it out. Other than that, it was great. I'll definitely go back. The dinner menu looks great. Or I might even just order a sushi boat and leave dad behind lol.
Very tasty cuisine! I came in for lunch and the portion I received was enough for two meals. The miso soup is served extremely hot and tastes delicious. The salad tastes very fresh. I ordered teriyaki salmon and the flavor was very good. They don't have a very extensive kids menu and don't offer any type of noodles for them either. The service was very good and the atmosphere is clean and inviting.

Not a bad place, doesn’t do anything crazy or new then a regular sushi bar. Sushi is priced accordingly and fair. Sushi seems pretty average. Staff super nice and helpful. Only reason this gets a 4 star and not a 5 star is that it just average sushi bar and kinda boring atmosphere.
