King Cong Brewing Company - Sacramento

I usually like craft beer. But I'm telling you, King Cong has some great beer selection and the food is KILLER. They have SUPER-good pizzas and other smaller plates, and the atmosphere and outdoor seating area is ideal for a hot summer afternoon. The staff are also friendly, the owners really care about and are with the local community, and they also have live entertainment some evenings. I like this place to just kick back and have a good meal and a few drinks with friends.

Good beers and good homemade food! The cheesy garlic bread was great! We were chatting with a couple people who work there very friendly and affable. I've got to go back so I can try this one beer I wasn't able to try last time.

I visited King Cong Brewery during the pandemic and Kovid restrictions. The first thing to me and half the reason why I make this review a year later is because of the beautiful art that surrounds the brewery and the carefully managed vessels of Cong Spezialbrauen! The beautiful and majestic gorillas that decorate the aluminium barrels of the Golden Ales sell this product really to the eye and the taste will send your tongue to beer lovers sky! Even their double IPAs are smooth enough to fool you to drink several! Can't wait to return a trip to the current less restrictive times!

Love this place! Husband owns the gym, Tortoise Shell Boxing up the Blvd and we feel the love each and every time we go have a beer and food. Always warm welcome and the best beer in Sacramento. Can't get enough of being able to take 4 packs with us too!
