Frog Slim - Sacramento

The Beet Salad was ridiculously small for the $17 price tag. There were three slices of beets and 1/4 cup of arugula on the plate. There needs to be more to this salad for that price. Our party of six all felt our empty dishes should have been cleared sooner by the staff. Otherwise, the food was good.

Service is excellent. Brian is an awesome person. He approached us right away since there was no table available when he arrived. The people who work there seem to enjoy their job. They were happy to serve us. The food is delicious.

The portion size on dine downtown was small leaving us hungry. considering the price to make chocolate truffles and rice balls in particular, they could have been larger/more.

At the first dinner here tonight, my wife and I left the children with the sitter for a date night home. we chose frog slim because of the Raving reviews. here is my honest opinion. positiw: exceptional service, drinks and atmosphere. negatiw: eating. I tried the braised pork, because many shaved on the eggplant above. I found that black to be granular and hard. I couldn't finish it. the best part of the plate were the kartoffels, but I had better home. my wife ordered the aged ribeye medium rare. the steak was well spiced, but it was delivered medium. it was also hard to chew. I'm pretty sure the class was select. best choice. again the service and the drinks were excellent, but I give this place 2 stars because how disappointing that was eating. the Conse overshawed the pros, we could eat much better somewhere else for half price.

Wonderful service and terrific food. Cocktails were on point.
