In two visits had the verde chilaquiles, cochinita pibil, huevos motulenos, and chicken mole. Everything was delicious, and the service was great. Their chipotle salsa was so good I took some to go! View all feedback.
What Allison B doesn't like about Casa Tulum:
VERY disappointed! My friend and I went Thursday for dinner and arrived around 5:15. No lights, door locked, no sign on the door explaining why they weren't open. We were REALLY looking forward to trying a new Mexican spot and enjoying the outdoor patio. View all feedback.
Very enjoyed our experience from beginning to end here. chef arturo came to the back terrace to tell us about his specialties for lunch, and we decided to try both. super authentic, fresh and incredibly tasteful! great back terrace. this is a restaurant that will be a hot spot when word spread, so they will come here soon. So, chef arturo told us that every Friday he gets a fresh delivery of red snapper to make his famous whole roasted fish. do not sleep over it, it is simply the best in the city.
Have been here twice now and love the amount of flavor and depth that is always in every dish. The Huevos Motulenos now add chorizo to the dish for extra flavor. My husband had the chilaquiles which he said were excellent. This along with the fresh Sandia Agua Fresca and Latin music make for a fun Sunday Brunch.
Excellent food. Chef Arturo was awesome. We got top shelf service.. I recommend Casa Tulum Restaurant
A very nice relaxing place to eat. Best mole in town. The shrimp tacos were absolutely delicious.
The recent review in The Sacramento Bee recommended this new restaurant with the Chef claiming he makes the best mole in town. We were not disappointed. The mole with chicken enchiladas were excellent. Lunch plate was 3 delicious enchiladas , yummy cilantro rice with a few black beans on top . The 3 shrimp taco lunch , also delicious. Very nice touch , Chef Vargas personally coming out to the dining room to ensure everyone was satisfied with their meals. Definitely going back for dinner.
