The Habit Burger Grill - S San Diego

What’s up with this location? Where to even start… cold food, mediocre flavor at best! Burger just alright…. Salad all lettuce, no toppings, wrong salad dressing, no requested napkins or utensils… Save your money and go to in n out burger it tastes better.

I ordered the curbside pick up and received a text saying my order was ready but it wasn't. I had to go inside and wait 20 more minutes.

For great burgers, this is the place. Suggest you stop in a little after the lunch rush, for a quicker quieter meal time. Try the Grilled Chicken Club on sourdough bread for a special treat!

Above average food, everything thing seemed to be ala carte, no combo meals. Moderately priced bill was $14 and change for one, having a portabello mushroom burger(a little greasy, if I go back it would need to be well done) and substituted fries for onion rings and a drink. Not bad, just over the average tic but nothing to get excited over. Both male servers were nice and professional, manager and associate.

We had intended to dine at another fast food restaurant next door, which unfortunately was backlogged due to a high volume of online orders. So we popped in next door to The Habit Burger. I'm soooo happy we did!!! We usually go other hamburger fast food restaurants (often drive-thru service), so we weren't familiar with the menu. Our culinary experience was a very pleasant surprise! We dined in and ordered the Double Charburger meals (w/o cheese). The flavor, portion size, and freshness were absolutely delicious! I love french fries in general, but frequently in the past found something lacking...either in flavor, temperature, freshness, or crunchiness. But THESE fries...absolutely the best!!! My NEW favorite burger joint!
