The cream cheese wontons were delicious. I had the shrimp tempura roll, it was very loose and fell apart and I had trouble eating it. My husband loved the kuchi roll and the black and pink roll. They are very friendly here and great customer service. View all feedback.
What Ally Bergeron doesn't like about Sushi Kuchi:
The sushi here isn’t bad, as long as it’s not fried or delivered. Additionally, females beware if eating alone; you’ll be charged 2x your bill since apparently sushi is a “man’s world”. View all feedback.
This place was alright overall. The food wasn't anything super great but they did have some really good garlic edamame. The softshell crab was just all breading, no meat. Everything else I tried was just ok. Service was good and staff were friendly and engaging.
Large portions combined with excellent Wasabi and fresh fish makes thos place one of the best sushi places I've been to in San Diego.
Ok Sushi...but awful customer service from waiter/waitress...I had to call her few times for service and even to pay the bill..

Sushi Kuchi was a favorite sushi restaurant when we lived in Mission Valley. We have since moved 25 minutes away, and they are still our favorite and worth the drive. The specialty rolls have a generous portion and are excellent! Our favorites are Tuna Tataki and House roll. The staff is always very friendly and provide great service.
