I've only had a few Chinese places before this one and I heard so much about it. And honestly I have to say even in a setting of a small kiosk in the Maine mall their food was stellar. It was extremely busy, but that's because it is the most popular place there. So if you don't mind a small wait, definitely try this place.

I gave it another try. Same problems. There is no way to reach anyone in the corporate office to let them know the customers feelings. The first Avenue restaurant is dark, does not give the feeling that it is particularly clean. Staff is extremely accommodating, but that is the best I can say for it. Waited today for fresh fried rice to come out and fresh sweet fire chicken with pineapple. Neither was temperature hot enough to be safe to eat. There was not one piece of pineapple to be found in the whole order. You get a bowl full of fried rice and very little of the chicken. I said some things so they gave me a little more. Everything was extremely dry. The coupon they offer is an insult! Now, I guess in order to keep the prices down, they no longer give a taste of anything. Plastic ware and napkins are behind the counter and you must ask for them. As bad as all of that is my fortune cookie had no fortune in it!

Order ahead on their website and save a 1/2 hour of wait time. It's busy at this location, it's a mall. Be prepared to wait, you won't be disappointed. The food is always awesome and fresh! Try something different you might like it!

I asked for a bowl for my rice was told i couldnt have one unless i bought more for an upgrade. I decided not to eat but my kids got their food and it was cold which made it not good and ruined their appetite. Wont be going
