We dine at this restaurant often and always anticipate our next visit. It is a cozy spot with seating for approximately 24 guests at 6 tables inside and 2 more outside. Reservations are suggested. The service is quick, the menu is extensive and the BYOB policy is convenient with a CWS bottle shop conveniently located next door. The food is exceptional, offering authentic dishes and a good selection. Highly recommend! View all feedback.
What Trinity Corkery doesn't like about Baan Chiang Thai Restaurant:
The service was on the slow side, food was good and cheap enough, the decor is dated and it’s a small restaurant, not the place to impress people with or entertain business clients but great for the locals and their friends. View all feedback.
I was looking for a good Thai repair in the opposite and baan chiang was just the right place. I ordered the pad see ew, green curry and pad kee mao. my family and I enjoyed the meal and we will definitely go back to have more Thai food
We were in baan chiang several times. it is one of our favorite Thai restaurant in sydney. eating is great and not too spicy. they are vegetarian friendly. with lunch special we can easily get a nice meal with $10 budget. so it is a very busy little restaurant especially when lunch. it will be better to make reservations when they pass to lunch. I have experienced that I have to wait at least 30 minutes for a table, as there are limited seats with many diners. there is a little thing I don't like is that they are not open at the weekend and public events. else, overall, who loves Thai food, most likely they will not be disappointed.
I recently started a new job close to this restaurant, and the first time I went there, I ordered takeout and they wanted to charge me for the container. I didn't mention that I had already paid for it. It seems that many Asian restaurants do this, but I personally don't think we should have to pay for takeout containers. The food was delicious, despite the minor issue. The next time I went, I dined in with my colleagues and once again the food was excellent. I have visited multiple times and I must say that the service and food are consistently good. The dishes are flavorful and fresh. Maybe I just go at the right times, but they always seem to get it right. We will definitely continue going back as we have never been disappointed with the food.

I live nearby and this is my go-to Thai restaurant. I am a huge fan of their laksa, panang curry, and Singapore noodles. I highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family not just for the amazing food, but also for the friendly service. I feel lucky to live so close to this hidden gem.
