Had the pleasure of having a meal at Aunty Alice’s Cafe , the original Russell Island Cafe . The friendliest , nicest people I have ever, nothing was a problem . Then the food was so good , I just recommend this cafe to anyone whom visits Russell Island . 100 percent tops

Great little cafe just a short walk to the ferry. There are tables under cover. Good food and service.

I found this cafe very mental health issues very unfriendly. If the owner finds out you have an issue she will tell you its rubbish and your full of it. She will gossip about you I have witnessed this my self. If you have a crisis point she will just call the police, instead of telling you to come down. She will gossip about anyone and, anything. One thing i want to make known this is not gossip it is the truth. So think twice if you have a mental health issue before going their the Island has a lot of other place that have great food and, very very good service..

Very convenient for the Ferry to other island and to the mainland, Aunt Alice's is a laid-back little treasure, with a good menu, excellent presentation, friendly staff, and great value for money. It's a BYO but there's a bottle shop right next door and there's no corkage charge. Highly recommended.
