I've driven from Ontario too Alberta and back 11 times...I have to drive since I am a big dog owner. This motel gave doggy bags when I checked in. They were the nicest best place I stayed across Canada that was pet friendly. 100% need to stay here pet owners View all feedback.
What Darlene D doesn't like about The Russell Inn:
Worst experience ever. Straight out of a horror movie. The sketchy staff locked me out my hotel room for over an hour in the middle of the night in minus 30 weather while my dog was trapped in the room. When I complained I was told I could stay somewhere else. Do not stay here if you are a woman travelling alone. It is unsafe and we left traumatized. View all feedback.

Just go to a and w breh, had they veal and pasta, along with chicken fingers and fries
Quaint with nice attention to detail. Stayed overnight while a Dickension conference was also in attendance, and they put us a distance away, too make sure we slept without being disturbed. Rooms are basic, with nice touches, and very clean, and it was nice being able to park right in front of our car during the cold weather. Breakfast was filling, with a good amount of food. Pleasant atmosphere.
The Russell Inn has some of the tastiest food in the town. Their pasta and burgers are delicious. While the menu may not compare to some places in the city, it's quality stuff. And after 300 kms of billboards, you're curious, right? Trust me, this is one of the best sit-down restaurants in this town. It has the feel of a family restaurant with some of the decor of a sports bar (mostly posters of Jon Montgomery, our gold-medallist).
