I visit Vic Neley every week (sometimes even more than once), and it's always clear that the staff is like a big family, genuinely happy to be there. We consistently receive excellent service and generous portions of food, and of course, there's shisha too. I also enjoy their club nights on Fridays and Saturdays. View all feedback.
What Lucy M doesn't like about The Victoria:
I visited the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and, within 15 minutes, I felt uncomfortable because of a drunk man. We ended up leaving because two overly intoxicated men started arguing. I had intended to order food, but the fact that vaping was allowed on the premises really turned us off. View all feedback.
Recently, a group of us continued to celebrate a friend's birthday at The Victoria pub in Aldershot, after enjoying an excellent Nepalese meal at the Gagan Chulo restaurant in Station Road. We enjoyed excellent service at The Victoria from friendly staff who even served our bottles of Prosecco at our table. Beautifully presented! A relaxed atmosphere and we all enjoyed the music which even encouraged us to have a dance. Everyone in the pub was having a very good time and we all felt very safe. The helpful security staff on the door checked us in quickly and efficiently. I think this helped us feel safe and contributed to the relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The Victoria also has an excellent food menu, serving both Nepalese and British food. Excellent quality and good value! We often order food while watching football.
Really nice place to go on a Saturday night. eating is good and the music too. the waiter and manager are very polite and helpful, and the bouncers are very nice, they make them feel safe. I'm sure you'll go back.
The food was incredible, the service was fantastic, and it was definitely worth the price. I absolutely loved my experience! I'm planning to go again next Tuesday for some curry. If you haven't been there yet, you really should check it out.
My husband, a friend, and I visited the Victoria for a drink on Friday night. We were asked for identification, which I found amusing since we are all in our 50s. Since we didn't have any ID on us, we were denied entry. When I voiced my complaint, I was informed that they needed to be cautious about who they allowed in, mentioning an incident involving a window cleaner named Tony. I refuse to be judged like that. It seems that many of the patrons there must be underage.
