First Watch - Royal Palm Beach

My second time at a First Watch. The most impressive part was the decor. The food?not so much. The menu is trying too hard to be something it shouldn?t be an ?avant garde? breakfast place. Everything doesn?t need avocado this or multi grain that. I ordered the hash with a side of their Million Dollar Bacon which is just bacon with maple syrup on it. Overpriced and not great. The hash isn?t a true ?hash? like you would expect it?s home fries with avocado andtomatoes and other stuff and the potatoes weren?t cooked all the way. We also had great coffee delivered in a carafe to the table a nice bonus. My partner loved her meal, though. Her pancakes were delicious and fluffy, and the freshfruit and lemon curd were spectacular. The food is very presentable it?s plated quite well and looks very attractive. The decor is awesome, though. Very well thought out and executed. But it doesn?t match the menu. Service was great,and the staff is very friendly. Overall, this having been my second visit I don?t see a reason for a third. Unless the menu adds some traditional items, then for sure I?ll be back.

The atmosphere is great! There servers here are super nice. There?s many different options and different types of juices.

I used to Love this place unfortunately it has absolutely gone down hill the staff does their best, but they are just not prepared at all especially for weekends. The food has come out hard and over cooked. After today I won?t be back. This is multiple times now and we are a party of 10 people. They brought this dish back out and here is what we bit into. I will say Johnny the new GM says there is new staff and they need to work out the kinks that?s why I gave a two star. Theyneed to fix this it was great at one time. Hopefully Johnny can turn it around. He handled it professionally, but bottom line this needs to be addressed so that they can fix this.

The environment and staff were friendly! Even though they got an order wrong, the server was helpful and happy to replace it. All in all the experience itself was pretty good. The food was pretty bland though. I got the classic eggs Benedict and tried some of the pancake and million dollar bacon. The Benedict was flavorless and the potatoes were kind of soggy and cold. The pancake was fluffy but also lacking in flavor, I had to put a ton of syrup on it. The bacon wasjust bacon in syrup. But I appreciated the staff and interior.

Best service at a First Watch I?ve been to. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious and everyone was very friendly. Houdini rates 10 stars for the bacon!
