The food was delicious and the tableside waiters served the food quickly and attentively. The price was fair considering the quality of the meal. At first glance, the portion size may seem small, but you'll be surprised to find out that you just consumed a pound of high-quality beef. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. What Frances Howe doesn't like about Baekjeong Rowland Heights:
Been here several times in the past but never reviewed. Typical environment. Service was excellent. Food was good, but the meat was a bit chewy. The price is still pretty reasonable, but I think the quality of meat has gone down from what I remember. Good selection of beer. That's important. View all feedback.
Great xperience, all the workers were very attentive and came back to the water.
Great experience, high quality meats and the service was impeccable.
We went on Thursday at noon, about 12:30, there were about five tables. A combo meal is ordered, consisting of three meats and one soup.A short waitress , cold face, helped us roast the meat, and I felt she didn't know how to cook it at all. She would put all kinds of meat on the roasting pan, and then it would burn half of it in a short time, which made me very unhappy. I really didn't want her to cook it.The quality of the meat is ok, but the level of waitress's barbecue technique is too bad! It's burnt my meat.
I was so excited to try this Korean BBQ restaurant after our experience at one in Atlanta. However, it was a disappointment. Our server, Jedi was nice but too busy, so he wasn't able to serve us much. We went in a Sunday lunch just before noon. They were not super busy but there are few servers. First of all, the fire at our table was not working probably. Only half of them were working. So Jedi had to cook on the half side of the grill. Secondly, there are only 5 appetizer plates with salad. That was the experience that I enjoyed most at most of Korean restaurants. Kimchi, sweet potato, radish and tiny fish cake and bean sprouts. Anyways, it was disappointing. The egg on the side of the grill was too hard. I asked for 2nd and Our server was too busy to serve us. Finally and most importantly, the meat quality was not as good as what we had in Atlanta. We ordered one large beef combo and one large pork combo. I loved pork Jowl meat in Atlanta. It was just not as good. Ribeye had so much fat. The meal was $275+$50 tip for 5 of us. It was not too expensive if the quality of meat is better. I will not go back again. Hope to find a better Korean BBQ restaurant in inland empire.
Disappointed to say the least. Maybe it was the location or maybe it was the waitress but the meat was only cooked with medium heat. The eggs never fully cooked. We've had baekjeong in New York and it was so much better. The waitress told us that the pork was cooked when it was still RAW inside!!! Then another waiter came and cooked it for us. Maybe they were just very understaffed but it was a Saturday and I think they could have prepared or trained people better. Id rather eat something else in the area if I go again. A very disappointing meal!
