Go here regularly as its one of the few chinese restaurants that can do gluten free food - everything tastes fantastic, fresh and great. Unfortunately the decor is a little "cold" like many chinese restaurants but its not that bad. It gets super busy and prices are reasonable. The only thing that I don't like is that there is a TV on the wall that has subtitles but its very distracting and you find yourself staring a... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Yee's Palace Chinese Restaurant:
Popped in with the boyfriend for dinner before heading to the movies. Service is quite slow as there is only one waitress who is coping with everything. The younger is quite young and doesn't understand orders but she's trying. Clean and good menu. We had the crab and sweet corn soup and chilli king prawns was good. Need to go back for another visit to try more on menu to make a decision. From first experience they c... View all feedback.
The Chinese waitress is arrogant and does not understand customer orders, but the food is good. The other waiters are professional. Hold up!
We ordered takeout from this restaurant a few times during the lockdown, and decided to order from there again this week. Each time, the food was greasy and just okay. They use MSG in their food without having to be asked, which was disappointing. The woman working there told me that all the meat is already seasoned with MSG, so there's no way to avoid it. This can be difficult if you have young children who may react poorly to it. On average, a family dinner here costs $60-$80.
This restaurant is a hidden gem that has been serving up delicious food for years, yet it often goes unnoticed in a small shopping complex. I am consistently impressed by the quality of the food and service at this restaurant. My favorite dish is the satay skewers - they are the best I've ever had. Some of my other favorites include the salt and pepper chicken, prawns, calamari, chili chicken, and Mongolian lamb. I highly recommend asking for the gluten-free option, as the thin and crispy texture is amazing. Being able to BYO is a great perk, and there is a bottle shop conveniently located just 50m away. I always find myself coming back to this restaurant as one of my favorites.
We were a group of six participants on Saturday lunch. we ordered the b' banquet and found the servings nicely cooked, but also very large. with two torts and six netzens, plus rice, we found that there were more food than we could eat....We also asked that the net spers in two portions, as there was no place on the table for all dishes. because this was one of the first days after the destressing of the establishments of restaurants after the covid19 pandemic, we found that we were the only people in the restaurant that were disappointed that I would think for the restaurant. our eating was both pleasant and plentiful and the service was friendly and attentive.
We've been eating at this restaurant for years, and while the food is still good, the lunch specials have sky-rocketed in price. Also they're one of the only restaurants that don't deliver, which is disappointing if you have a hungry family on a Sunday night...and too lazy too go out.
