The Lane - ROTTNEST ISLAND

We discovered that the lane offers vegan options in one of the most red card brochures. While it is not very obvious in the load, the employees are knowledgeable and happy to advise what can be veganized (based on everything). we tried the huevos rancheros (with linsenburger instead of eiern) and the enchilada. both were very delicious! as an additional bonus we had to watch quokkas while we ate outside at the tables. Super friendly and delicious gluten-free, vegan food. we had the mushroom burger and the Chia/Bircher breakfast and loved both.

It was nice to have the choice of vegan options on this island. they offer wraps and a sandwich. smoothies and açaí dishes and a Mexican dish. they also have vegan cookies and vegan ice cream. I had the Mexican bowl, which was very tasty, but was a bit dry, as if heated on the microwave, so only 4 stars.

This is probably the only place on the island where they can get vegan. the best choice can be the veggie burger who was quite good, and cordy riders who were very salty. together with a juice it saw me through the day. the staff is helpful and there was maintenance of sleepy quokkas and two fighting pecocks that marched into the shopfront!

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this restaurant, with its incredibly friendly staff and delicious gluten-free, vegan options. We tried the mushroom burger and the chia/Bircher breakfast and were impressed by both dishes.
