Contribute FeedbackGibson's restaurant offers a high-end dining experience with top-notch service and delicious food, making it a favorite for many customers. Some have had issues with overbooking and crowded tables, but overall, the quality of the food and service shines through. While pricey, the experience is worth it. The Chicago Cut steak, lobster bisque, ribs, and crab cakes come highly recommended. The charming char on the steaks adds to their appeal, and the outstanding customer service makes for a memorable dining experience. With a relaxing ambiance and attentive staff, Gibson's remains a top choice for those seeking a quality meal.
While the food and service is good, some of the other Diner Pyjama pants and bedroom slippers, baseball caps, etc. My friend and I want a nice, quiet dinner at the steak restaurant. The other diners feel like a pub or Denny's. I don't want to spend $300 for dinner and a fine bottle of wine to be irritated by the incredibly bad manners of people these days. You should have at least one basic dress code. Someone has to teach young people today about the basic label, at least what you don't wear to a nice restaurant. I'm not coming back.
The food and service were excellent. The tables are too close to one another. Our table for two was squeezed in between two tables of four. There was very little room to get to the booth side without hitting either table. I joked with a service host, who was putting linen on table next to me, about how it looked like he was making his bed as the table cloth hit our table when he was spreading out the table cloth. He was not disrespectful. You can’t have a private conversation. The tables are too close.
I 've had the pleasure to dine at all three Gibson 's restaurants. Before last night, ALL three delivered. Last night was no bueno : Service was slow and interrupted. My 10 oz filet wasn’t cooked medium, it was rare. It had to go back to the kitchen for more fire. Two tables down from our table, a guest was in angry conversation w/others at his table. No fun! For the high end price paid for our meal, it didn’t deliver the Gibson’s value, quality taste, and experience I’ve known from previous dinners at Gibson’s. It missed the “wow factor”!
It’s to congested food was very bland I will never go back
Steak burned, I complained, but waitress brushed it off and said how they sea it. It was black and bitter. And this is the second time in this place. So I'm done with them. For $100, Steak better be perfect every time. My 11-year-old son would cook better. Shame
