I can't speak for everyone, but I can share my own experience. I'm quite particular when it comes to ordering Chinese food, usually opting for Happy Palace in Elizabeth. My lo main was a little bit salty and the noodle a little over cook ..
The Chinese staff here is incredibly friendly, and the food is delicious. As an Asian, I feel genuinely welcomed when I come here to enjoy my meals.
The Tom Yum Goong was the ideal balance of spicy and sweet. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the dumplings are freshly made, not frozen, which is quite uncommon in take-out places.
I really enjoy this Chinese restaurant. They are currently closed for renovations, but I'll be sure to return as soon as they reopen.
