I had my hopes on this restaurant and they did not exceed/: the one thing I enjoy was the birria tacos and the soup with which it came to dip, but the rice and the beans were not at all. they had no taste. The take out Mexican food we ordered was delicious. We ordered the empanada trio, two sets of tacos (ropa vieja, chicken tinga) and guacamole. It was the right amount of spice and flavor. We will definitely be coming back to Johnny Tequilas. Parking is on the street so factor in some time especially if you are dining in.
Decent place, average food. A bit pricey for the size/quality but I guess inflation is killing everyone.

The food was delicious and affordable. The place is really nice and had good music as well.
