Jungle Bay Dominica - Roseau

We just returned from an amazing 11-day stay at Jungle Bay, and we can't say enough good things about this resort. The staff truly goes above and beyond to ensure you feel like part of the family; we're already missing our morning walks with Sam and our evening yoga sessions with Nancy! The organized tours they offered were fantastic and very affordable. The food varied each day and was always fresh and flavorful, and the grounds were absolutely pristine. Having visited over 120 countries, we would rank Dominica near the top of our favorites, and we can't imagine staying anywhere other than Jungle Bay on our next trip. If you're considering this place, do yourself a favor and book it now!

If you're seeking a luxurious experience in a jungle setting where you can indulge in the beauty of nature while enjoying top-notch amenities, this is the ideal spot for you. The gym, the food, the rooms, the villas, and the staff – everything here is truly exceptional.

Highly recommended! The villas are charming, the grounds are stunning, and the staff is friendly. It's conveniently located near excellent snorkeling spots in Southwest Dominica. The breakfasts and lunches are delicious and healthy. I would rate it 4.5 stars if I could, but we found that the dinner service in the restaurant didn't quite meet the five-star standard.

Jungle Bay Resort is truly exceptional! I don't think the website does justice to just how wonderful this place really is. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, making you feel right at home. The guides are outstanding and possess a wealth of knowledge. The food is absolutely delicious, and the entire property is remarkable. We opted for the Adventure package, which turned out to be the best decision we could have made. Each day was filled with activities—we hiked, snorkeled, lounged by the pool, did yoga, indulged in spa treatments, explored the grounds, and enjoyed amazing meals at every sitting. Jungle Bay's commitment to sustainable eco-tourism is truly commendable. I can't express enough how great this resort and its staff are!

This is likely the best overall accommodation on the island (I experienced three, including Jungle Bay). Jungle Bay combines first-class amenities with a rustic atmosphere. A significant advantage is that much of the food is sourced locally from the surrounding fields. The views are breathtaking, and the sounds of the jungle provide a soothing backdrop as you drift off to sleep. The cuisine is a delightful blend of local flavors while also catering to more traditional tastes (though I personally steered clear of that). The saltfish and coconut bakes are absolutely incredible, so I didn't feel the need to try anything else. The hotel is located in the southwest of the island, about a 40-minute drive from all the major attractions. Don’t miss the spacious and airy yoga studios, which are perfect for those who prefer group classes or want to practice on their own. Overall, it was an amazing stay, and I look forward to returning to Dominica.
