have eaten here a few times when I stay next door in the hotel when away from the work. steak is always good and so far mine has been cooked exactly as I ordered it. (medium rare). I don't want to fry. Although they will not replace, the chef seems to offer more Cos-Latetuce to help compensate. I liked that. so far no bad experiences to report. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Steak Co By Sean Connolly, West Hq:
tasteless steak, pfeffer sauce was like water. steak underboiled and cold. salat was warmer than steak, chips underboiled and no salt. will not eat here again. service: dine in meal type: dinner price per person: $40–60 View all feedback.
Ordered the Pork Ribs at $75 and while they were cooked they were only just cooked, meat was hard to remove from the bones and had great lumps of fat all over it. I've cooked better ribs at home. So not worth the money. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$40–60 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
It's been a long time since I've been to Rooty Hill RSL and I was surprised how it changed a lot. We stopped here to get dinner after a long drive. My husband ordered the special brisket, I had the lamb cutlets and our son had hotdog and chips. 1 of my cutlet was rare, the other one was well cooked and tasty. My husband's brisket was a little dry but he said it's okay. Just very disappointed since I asked just salad to go with the cutlet but all I was given was whole coz lettuce that was cut in half and with white dressing sauce and cheese, I ate the other half cuz I was so hungry but I think they need to change it to a proper salad instead. The cos lettuce isn't bad but it's not a salad either. My husband said the food was overpriced but I insisted to get dinner at Steak Oyster Co cuz I was thinking it would be worth the money but I was wrong. Staff were very friendly and nice which I gave them 5 star Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 5
We ordered the seafood chowder for $38 and it was the worst i’ve ever had the peas were rock hard it had a few mussels and clams the potatoes were hard the fish on top was overcooked and the skin was soft and watery the only decent thing was the garlic bread my aunt ordered the barramundi it was overcooked as well served on top of whipped potatoes and half a head of lettuce on the side with a bit of dressing the presentation was very poor it looked like a pre schooler put it on the plate and for the 3 dishes and drinks set us back $129 but i must admit the guy who made my lemon lime and bitters did a outstanding job over all it was a very poor meal Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: A$120–140 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
