Parrot Lounge - Roosevelt Gardens

Hey, this place is really welcoming. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area. It's been around since 1970 and it's like a sports bar with booths and bar seating. They also have an outside space. The food was okay, cheap and cheerful stuff, nothing special. But they had a good variety of beers, and we tried the cider, which was nice. The staff were really friendly and helpful, one of them even came running after me when I left my sunglasses at the table. I think it would be a good place to go if you were on your own or even if you're two girls alone. The crowd is mainly middle-aged, but it felt safe, and it's open until 1 am.

Was at The Parrot in the late 70's during spring break. The best bar I have ever been in! Partied hearty until close.

Don't miss out on this place! It's off the beaten path the people are awesome! Great service atmosphere.

I live here in Ft. Lauderdale and I decided to venture out Friday night, totally forgetting about spring break. I hadn't been to the Parrot Lounge in forever, so I went there. I'm so glad I did. The Parrot Lounge has a great laid-back atmosphere, great live music, and a very friendly crowd. I highly recommend checking it out

Great experience! Food was great, staff Erica, Rachael Christina are the best! A must go to bar!
