The absolute best beef brisket I have ever had and the beans I had with it were great also. When we left I was full as the sandwich was big to the point of over flowing. This hidden gem of a restaurant isn't very far off of I55 and absolutely worth a pull off of the Interstate. The walls were lined with cool advertising and the staff was very nice and helpful. We will be back! Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price... View all feedback.
What Po int doesn't like about Doc Watson's Smokehouse:
Ordered the burnt ends. I 'm hoping my experience was a result of showing up near the end of the day, as what I was served should have been sold out as all but 2 of the burnt ends were just smoked fat. I will say the 2 pieces that were meat were cooked well, (would have been great if there was a hint of char on them). The seasoning was good and the sauce (sweet) was good as well. The potato salad I didn 't personally... View all feedback.
This place is the best hidden secret in the area. It's sorta small on the inside but the food is amazingly delicious. You are able to eat inside the restaurant and they have a couple of tvs on as well. I definitely recommend this place for food!!!
First off, love the ambiance of this place. Right up my alley. Then the BBQ? Forget about it. World class. Rib tips. Burnt ends. Brisket sandwich. Pork chops. Unreal. Don't walk, run.
Small place, good food. The brisket and sausage were great I was not happy with the ribs, they were good but did not have alot of meat on them. Mac and cheese was great and coleslaw was alright. Overall not bad but not great.

The potato salad I didn 't personally like, but more of a texture thing as the potatoes were shoestring cut and not cubed. Service was good and prompt. The atmosphere is great, felt perfect for the venue. I am considering giving it another shot, but still struggling with being served a plate full of smoked fat. Definitely paying for eating it today ?
One of those places if you don't know, you wouldn't even see it in passing. Tucked in a little strip mall property was this spot. Nice ambiance upon entering, the smell of smoked food greets you at the door. I had the triple combo, Brisket, turkey, smoked sausage, monster baked beans, and Mac and cheese. The Brisket and monster baked beans were by far the best to me. As their spicy sauce to the Brisket, and you're doing yourself a service. Not spicy at all, but plenty of flavor to the sauce. I'll have to try a few more items on the menu to give final judgement, but still a nice experience.Vegetarian options: They have a couple of salad options, but honestly, they're known for their barbecue, so I'm hoping you're not going there for anything other than that.Kid-friendliness: They have a few items on the kids section of their menu, but barbecue is kid friendly good anyway.Parking: It's in a strip mall type section of property with plenty of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: The doors are automatic, so you'll need assistance with the door.
