The Wooden Spoke - Roman Forest

So good! We had the ribs, chicken, brisket, stuffed tater and sides for a family get together. Everything was amazing and we really enjoyed talking to the owner and his wife! I especially liked the brisket and ranch beans and my wife loved the stuffed tater (she says the announcement of our sweet brisket food baby is forthcoming). Note that that chicken, while amazing, had a peppery rub that our daughter's said was too spicy. We're from out of the area, but will come back for sure when visiting family.

Just checked this place out for the first time today. My buddies stopped here for lunch and after checking out the photos they sent us we had to stop by. First of all, the lady working (forgot to ask for her name) was super nice and helpful. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and portion sizes. As far as the food goes : it was immaculate. Very satisfied with my visit and definitely a place I would recommend to others!

Gotta try the pulled pork stuffed baked potato. Delicious!!!

Liked it!! I'm not a big barbecue fan in general but the fact that they had other things available AND they're so close to my house. Promised the hubs to wait until the weekend but got hungry and had to dip in for a loaded baked potato with chicken. It was DELICIOUS!! The chicken was a perfect mix; white and I think it had a little dark. So the taste of white and the juiciness of dark...make sense? I'll update this weekend when we go back for more!!!

BBQ is always amazing! They've added burgers, chicken fried steak and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches. Our office goes here at least twice a week!
