If this is what chain gelato shops are like in Rome, I can't begin to think how good the really artisanal ones would be. But too few days and too many foods to try, so I only visited this one, and it was amazing! Close to a dozen chocolate options alone, mine was a beautifully bitter Indonesian single-source, I think. Always, always ask for cream on top! View all feedback.

morgana fairy: gluten-free ice cream parlor, cones included, with the crazy gorges, all with a unique balance of flavors. some examples: Venetian and pink rice ice cream, basil with nuts and honey, goto seadas with honey and pecorino, spicy date, mou and nuts, rosemary chocolate, creamy madagascar chocolate, caramel cream, peanut slice. A dream! View all feedback.
I chose pistachio, black veins and matcha and I was left open because everything delicious, special flavors but clearly distinguishable. only defect: cream! please do not pumpkin and not from the distributor! the owner listens to me, makes it small change and flies

Really good gelato with tons of interesting and unique flavors (multiple single origin chocolates, chocolate/coconut/peanut, lemon curd, crème pat strawberries… and gf cones too. Only €3 for a two flavor cone with whipped cream. We went here a few times on our recent trip.
All gluten free. Great selection of flavours. Brilliant labelling for other allergens and also for lower sugar options, reasonably priced as well. Great find.
