What User doesn't like about Dal Patriota:
Obviously you can expect to pay a premium for being so close to the Trevi fountain but there is zero value if your food is not edible. Zucchini appetizer was very greasy and unappetizing. Prosciutto melon was fine, fruit plate was fruit (hard to mess up). My spouse had pasta with clams which was fine but came very late. My Saltimbucca was inedible. Grey meat and raw meat in a pool of ??? With globs of fat. When I com... View all feedback.
We had a breakfast, it was such a nice atmosphere. Cute umbrellas on the chairs, attentive staff, good food. The size of portions is big which amazes. I would a good quality place, perfect for brunch
A beautiful restaurant with very friendly staff, good service and delicious food! only the service package was not quite obvious to us or whether we paid more for the outside seat. we estimate that we paid 6€ for two people. during the stay, I unfortunately ordered a court that I thought was different than a misunderstanding. I ordered scallopine that I thought was scallops, i.e. jakobsmuscheln, as this was also translated by google translation. However, this was a kalbscarf, which is also easy to find out when they enter it directly in the Google search. the staff was very polite and ordered me another dish because I could not eat meat as such and feed me pescetarically. we ordered zuppa di mare and a pasta with salmon, with it we had two water bottles and paid a total of 54€ with service cup. slightly higher from the price, but highly recommended! the food was delicious and the ambiente was beautiful. and as already mentioned, the service was very good.
Lovely location two minutes from the Trevi fountain in a quiet side road the restaurant has inside and outside seating with a beautifully laid out area outside with ample space heating to take away the chill. The range and quality of the food is excellent and the staff are very friendly and attentive well worth a visit and we will return there when next in Rome
Had an amazing evening at this restaurant. Nine of us flew out to Rome to celebrate my husband’s 60th birthday. I sent them an email booking and called in the night before to confirm. We had been previously in 2018 and loved it. Constantine and colleagues made it an event and not just a meal. In beautiful, intimate surroundings, it truly was an evening to remember. They went above a beyond a normal evening with Prosecco on arrival, a birthday “cake” , and even played a song of my choice for him after the main meal. All the ladies were even presented with a rose and my husband given a huge bottle of champagne as a gift! The food and wine were marvellous. Delicious ingredients and expertly served : starters included zucchini flowers, breads with oil, meats and cheeses. Mains included salted baked sea bass, seafood risotto, grilled salmon, ravioli and assorted vegetables . Desserts of tiramisu and the wonderful delicate pastry torte as the “cake”. They really looked after us and made the whole evening one which we all, especially my husband and I, will never forget. Can’t wait to return.
Fantastic meal here. Food was delicious, staff were lovely. Had fantastic cocktails too. Kept nice and toasty by the outdoor heaters. The best surprise was at the end when the restaurant gifted us a rose and some heart shaped chocolates! A very romantic and lovely place to eat away from the hussle of the Trevi Fountain.
