The menu features stew and vegan vol-au-veggie, with the vegan dishes coming from Vegansa and being truly delicious. It is typical Flemish cuisine, but veganized. We were surprised that there was nothing vegan on the menu. The vegan dishes are listed on a separate sheet (not even a menu) and you have to ask for it. Very disappointing! The staff was also not particularly friendly and couldn't confirm if the fries were vegan. It's a shame because the dishes from Vegansa are really great, but they do not shine in this establishment. As a vegan, you also need to be prepared to sit in a chicken restaurant, amidst the smell of roasted chicken and constantly seeing whole and half chickens passing by on plates. This place seems most suitable for groups where one person is vegan and the rest absolutely "needs" their meat.

It's a shame that Vegansa's delicious dishes are not given proper recognition at this restaurant. Vegan diners may feel out of place among the strong presence of meat-based dishes. This establishment may be better suited for group outings where both vegan and non-vegan diners can find something to enjoy.
