This restaurant souvenir store was a great option for a quick meal. Was looking for bottled moose. Only place on west coast of Newfoundland that sold it. Haven't tried it yet but picked up moose sausage while there. Sausages were incredibly delicious. Ordered Mac cheese for lunch. It was not the thing to have ordered on the menu. Should have ordered the fish cakes. We were later told by 3 different locals, after being there, that they had the best fish cakes around.
We ordered veggie omelette, hash browns and french toasts. Loved the hash browns we had. Tasty and crispy. Omelette despite being veggie was not bland at all like at other breakfast places. Tasty! French toasts were also great. The shop has other local crafts things etc as shown in the picture. You can buy souvenirs as well. Owner was very hospitable and nice guy. Place is not that big so can get busy quickly. I would definitely go there again!
The toutons and fish cakes were delicious! The servers are so friendly. The store has a lot of great souvenirs!
This is a shop that has a little bit of 'Newfoundland ' traditions from all areas of the province. From Mummer dolls to Local Jewelry, also locally home-cooked style food to enjoy.
