Carmen's Italian Ice - Rockville

Suggest the Coconut Cutard. I liked it as well as everyone else at our party. We all had something different. It's not the kind of things you can really take home. More what you eat... I think transportation would be difficult. Many flavors, combinations of custard, shaved ice and even adult (alcoholic) popsicles were available.

Everytime my hubby and I drive through 270 we always see people packed up and long lines. So many flavors to choose if you like custard ice cream, Italian ice this is the place. Yum Yum.

Amazing! It was my first time here, but I plan to be a repeat customer. Where I used to live in New Mexico they had a custard place and I remember thinking I was really going to miss that. This place has provided a beautiful replacement and a better one. Am really happy I decided to come here. When you come up the menu can be a little overwhelming because there are so many different products and flavors. I got the stick bun coffee custard I think it was called and it was delicious! The prices are also more than fair, you can?t find many places with low prices like here much these days. Most of their cold products come in four sizes and the mini is perfect size for a reasonable sized treat if you are trying to be mindful of size! If you want to go all out your craving will be filled with their largest size. :

This is a great place if you're craving some sweet or even savory desserts/snacks. Wife and I came here for the custard, but ended up trying out the cinnamon pretzel bites and the mango shake too. Pretzel bites came out freshly fried and were a good size, crisp texture on the outside, and soft inside. Not sure if I'd get the mango shake again. The staff are friendly, professional, and courteous!
