Chester River Seafood - ROCK HALL

I'm a Maryland girl that loves blue crabs, so when we went camping in rock hall (Bayshore campground) I asked the staff for a suggestion on local seafood, lacy the manager was happy to send me in the direction of chest river seafood. Pre ordered a half bushel of #1 males for pick up on Saturday and my gosh when we picked them up they smelled sooooo amazing. I couldn't wait to get them back, but when we finally sat down i was greeted with this huge pile of hot steaming big ole crabs. I'm telling you these were the biggest, heaviest crabs I have ever had in my 33 years. The seasoning is to die for perfect amount on the crabs. Let me not forget to mention they went above and beyond to help us out with steaming some local corn we had picked up from a produce stand. I would recommend this place 100 times over to anyone who would listen

Giant delicious steamed crabs, half the price of most other places. Worth driving over 200mi round trip. Also have beautiful delicious soft shelled crabs. Way off the beaten path, but I haven't had a non-5 star experience carrying out crabs from here.

Their crabs are always good and reasonably priced and the crew is very friendly you do need your GPS to find it but once done, no problem. Sheila is great.

We went to a nearby highly yelped seafood restaurant last night and it was overpriced, over breaded, and utterly disappointing. Instead of risking that experience again, we decided to order steamed crabs from a store and picnic on our dock. Boy was that the most terrific idea ever. We ordered two dozen #1s, a tub of potato salad and a couple mallets and picked up a six pack of beer for less than what we paid at that restaurant for 5 crabs, a handful of oysters, and probably 10lbs of breading they labeled as kids meals After drooling all the way home, we had to beg, barter, and bribe for pictures before the kiddos dug in. Next time, we'll order ahead would've saved 20 minutes or so.

I've never been disappointed. We ordered a dozen #1 for $40 and a lb of large shrimp to go. Ended up with a bakery's dozen and some of the best crabs of the season. Every time we're in Rock Hall we stop by for our crab fix. Great price great food. Yummy!!!!
