Yes, the place is dark and dated but the vibe is good. There are real people having dinner and by that I mean groups of people out for the purpose of enjoying a good meal and a pleasant experience. The staff is outgoing and personable. Attentive without being irritating and they enjoy their work and are proud of their product which is very good. the service left much to wish. was not busy and the server seemed overwhelmed and the service suffered. we were extremely patient, with the empty water goggles, several moments of missing drinks, reminding and cutting off, as we ask about the menu and the servings (which takes care when they answered this thousand times, their work, their choice) and it has not improved over the entire meal up and through the introdu... Had dinner here tonight,the food and service was awesome!!
Pappy's Place did not disappoint! We made reservations for 10. We all ordered different things and everything was really good! Our waitress was funny. She has a very outgoing personality. We've had her before. All you can eat BBQ ribs was the Thursday night special. I heard they were yummy!
Cold beer, and great wings! Great place to watch Vikings games. Awesome staff!!
