Sonny's Deli - Rochester

I came here for work and was pleasantly surprised by this Deli. Despite its unassuming exterior that resembles a convenience store, the hot subs were absolutely amazing. The bread was delicious and the portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend this place.

Although it's not listed on the menu, the sausage breakfast sandwich at this restaurant is excellent. It's a great spot for a casual meal or a quick bite, offering simple dishes like milk and eggs. The staff is always friendly, and they have a surprisingly good variety of craft beers for a small establishment. It's interesting to see such a wide selection of disc golf equipment in such a quirky square.

The roast beef in the lower part of the menu is excellent, with a generous amount of beef and great flavor. However, the burgers are bland and tough, and the claim of using fresh ingredients is questionable. The meat sauce was disappointing, with a lack of seasoning and excess fat. Although I didn't try the pizza, the dough looked and smelled fantastic. It seems like there are high expectations for the pizza. I will provide an update if I get the chance to try it.

Love this place. We're in the neighborhood and order take out a few times a month. Burgers, subs, slices all good. Great service but when it's busy there can be a bit of a wait.

Simple yet perfect selection of beer. Food is good and inexpensive. Huge selection of disc golf Frisbee. Only thing they could add is a bit better selection of quick snacks
