The biggest problem I had was a manager was more worried about it to go order that is supposed to be picked up the next day instead of taking care of me when I was standing right there in front of her and she was yelling at her other View all feedback.
What Christopher Driesenga doesn't like about Jersey Mike's Subs:
I came in about 20 minutes before closing and the ordering went normal and I got my food just fine. However, exactly at 9 Jamon got my attention and said I had to leave immediately and wouldn't give me 5 more minutes to just finish eating my sandwich. He kept insisting that they were closed and I had to leave so they could clean the lobby. He even started getting quite rude until I packed up and left. Worst customer... View all feedback.
Today at around noon we went in to get lunch. I have Celiac Disease, so my options for eating out are extremely limited, and honestly a genuine risk to my health every time. I hate going during busy times and try to avoid going if possible because the GF Protocol tends to hold up the line, but today we couldn't avoid doing so.I feel terrible because I cannot remember her name, however the manager today (very kind, shorter, woman of color) was wonderful. She followed the GF protocol to a T, made everyone change gloves, cleaned the prep station, and prepared the sandwich for the most part herself. I felt very safe and we really enjoyed the sandwich.Folks complain about price but they obviously do not have to eat Gluten Free because Lord is that EXPENSIVE. I am very happy with the price due to the amazing customer service we always receive. Having the gluten free bread is a godsend and I appreciate the option so much. We had our Giant cut in thirds and for $22+tip we fed three happy gluten intolerant/Celiac people. Will be back! Dietary restrictions: I have Celiac Disease and the manager took that very seriously.
As a Philly native, these cheesesteaks are a BIG JOKE. Laughable! I understand that it is the South, but paying $10 for a half “PHILLY” cheesesteak is INSANE. I go in and order 2 “Regular” cheesesteak with fried onions. When my food was ready, I looked in the bag to find 2 half cheesesteaks. I thought that they misheard my order. So I returned to the cashier and informed them that I expected my cheesesteak to be 1 whole. And I am missing another cheesesteak. That is when they let me know that a “Regular” is basically a 16” roll cut in half and only the 1 half is sold for $10. That blew my mind! The entire 16” roll(Giant) of cheesesteak was $20. A total rip off and the people in the community is going for it. The various bread rolls are creative but definitely not Philly. In Philly, a regular PHILLY cheesesteak is 16” all yours. And yes the price for a 16” cheesesteak is roughly $10 $12. If you get a “Belly Filler” “Extra Large”, then you will spend roughly $22 $24 for a 24” cheesesteak that will feed 4 people. I’m going off my FAVORITE CHEESESTEAK PLACE IN PHILLY LARRY’S. Oh’ and the poppy store sell 16” cheesesteaks for $6. All of PHILLY CHEESESTEAKS ARE ON AMOROSO ROLLS.The steak is good but not worth the price. They should drop “Philly” off of their menu language, because nothing about it is Philly. If you plan to visit Philly, this is how you order a cheesesteak:A cheesesteakMayoSaltPepperKetchupFried Onions*DO NOT TOAST MY BREAD
