I enjoyed the Spicy Shrimp and Grits, and it was truly excellent! I've tried this dish at several other places, but Bayou Jack serves it best. They also have a great selection of beers. The staff was very polite and accommodating to our large group, which included small children. Everyone in my party was pleased with their meals. I also had the most disgusting fried okra I've ever tasted! The oil was old, and the batter was tasteless, so we ended up leaving that unfinished as well. I also ordered the Cajun étouffée in hopes of getting a true New Orleans experience, but I was sorely disappointed. The dish was inedible.

We are from Pennsylvania and travel 4 times a year to Roanoke, we love this place we were there last night, and as always eat and drink perfection! My husbands, who are very futile, have blackened Catfish. I had the Zydeco Catfish dinner of my Fav, and we met New Orleans, this food is Top Notch! We'll be here until 20. May and we will be safe again 1x a week!!
The food was amazing! Our server was great and offered food options with details to help us order because it was our first time. He’s suggestions were fabulous! Shrimp grits plate was my favorite
Love the catfish and crawfish civiche! Always consistent on flavor. I eat here pretty much every other payday during lunch. Great stuff!
My husband and I were driving around looking at possible areas to move. We ran across Bayou Jacks. Being from south Louisiana, the true test of a Cajun grill is the oyster POboys and the gumbo. Both werelegit! Highly recommend. Will be back!
The whole family loves Bayou Jack's Cajun Grill, we have never had bad service and the food has always been good!! It's our favorite place to go and eat!!
