Spending one night in Rivesaltes mid June, and was recommended this place. What a friendly welcome and you really feel that the food is cooked by someone who cares. The lady who was serving us took the time to explain each dish passionately and did her best in english as our french is not that great. We had fantastic food and the local wine at a very good price. We visited this delightful traditional French restaurant ( with touch of Catalan ) for lunch. The choice of menu was excellent and well priced giving choice of courses priced individually or together. Food was well prepared and presented by a superb host ( chefs wife ) and we felt comfortable and at home amongst the local French clientele.
This place is a real taste of French hospitality, wonderful food, exceptional hosts, beautiful wine. Would highly recommend to all in the area!

Returned to this lovely family run restaurant. Both myself and my friends enjoyed the great food prepared with local ingredients and the attentive service. Will return again and again.
I have holidayed with friends outside Perpignan over the last 8 years and we always treat ourselves to a meal at Allantoine. The food is always excellent and they are happy to spend time explaining the dishes to us.
