Tadka Indian Restaurant - Riverwood

Yum! The tadka dal, papdi chat, Bombay potatoes, aloo paratha and pulao rice were sensational! They were nice and spicy (as I asked for) and delivery was nice and timely. I will definitely be back!!

Excellent food,friendly staff,reasonably priced and also BYO. The Buttered Chicken is excellent as is the Rogan Kosh

We decided to get take away last night as it was cold, raining and I just couldn't be bothered cooking. We decided to try a local Indian restaurant for the first time. We ordered take away (although I note they do deliver). We ordered a large plain rice, vegetable korma (steamed vegetables mixed with ginger, garlic and cashew nut yoghurt), Chicken Nilgiri (chicken pieces cooked with mint and coconut in a spicy Indian sauce) and cheese naan. YUMMO! The food was fresh, flavoursome and very moorish. Estimated time from order to pick up was 15 minutes and they were spot on. So happy to source a local Indian restaurant with authentic and delicious food.

I'm not the type to bother writing reviews. I'll eat my food, 'mmm yum OK that was good etc etc I'll tell the cashier 'thanks it was lovely' whilst paying , but I have to make an exception for this restaurant. Every one needs to know how amazing the food is. Didn't have to wait very long at all, but long enough to assure you the food is made fresh to order. I've just discovered this place and I've declared myself a regular! Lol MOST AMAZING BUTTER CHICKEN EVER !! Plenty of cheese on my naan bread and my husband ; the most fussy eater in the world who only usually eats from my own pots and pans thoroughly enjoyed his meal also. couldn't stop raving about it. Must give this place a go!

This restaurant has changed ownership many times over the years( I am a long time resident of the area). I have had dinner there under a different management, but not the mew owners. I decided to give them a try with a takeaway order, before I decide whether I should take a group of family and friends there one night.I wasn't disappointed with the quality of food that we ordered. My mind's made up!! I will be having dinner there in the near future. 4-star for now until I evaluate the service and ambience.
