It was satisfactory for a New Year's Eve dinner. The service was good, but the food selection felt somewhat questionable. We had three different options on the prix fixe menu. Everything was fine, but nothing stood out. I might give the place another try on a quieter night. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Dimon Estate:
We celebrated New Year's Eve and our 10th anniversary. The highlight of the evening was the manager and bartender, who were very welcoming and friendly. However, the server was not attentive, and the service was quite slow. Additionally, the table next to us was very loud, which distracted from the romantic atmosphere we were hoping for. Good food in a magical setting. The oysters were fresh with the taste of the surf . The fluke Milanese crisp and toasty.
The Dimon Estate is a hidden gem on the North Fork of Long Island. Their signature cocktails tell the history of this beautiful estate. Chef/owner Chris's creative menu is second to none. You are guaranteed to find something new on the menu with every visit. He melds different flavors together that give your taste buds a wonderful surprise. Chris and his entire staff make dining at the Dimon Estate a very pleasurable experience.
Beautiful outside dining area with attentive service and great food.
Lots of local history, great views, lovely gardens, outstanding food and service. We thoroughly enjoyed Grilled Scallops, Lobster Fritters, Fluke Milanese and Seafood Pasta… so many layers of flavor. Highly recommend The Dimon Estate which will become our new go to spot.
Excellent food, friendly efficient service, beautiful ambiance.
