Irish Pub has a lot of potential. They need to get out of the Main Streeters mold who previously held this location. They still have a few fan favorites from Main Streeers like duck wontons which we ordered and was as good as expected. It was pretty slow when we were here so stop in and give it a shot!

In our party, we ordered the Irish Stew, Jameson Steak Tips Boxty, and the Reuben. All dishes were excellent. The Reuben was one of the best I have ever had.

Good chance the number of stars will go up but need to return for more visits to solidify a top review. In summary, it's great to have a restaurant in town that specializes in more than burgers or pizza. The boxty was creative and flavorful. I'll be back.

In my party of 3 none of us were impressed with the quality of the food, or the service. I have been to the other location, just outside of Hudson before and it was much better in every way than this was. Only one of my party ordered the signature Boxty dish, and he commented that it wasn't anything he'd order again, it did not appear appealing to me either. I had the Reuben sandwich, and again, it wasn't a great one. It was flavorless and sloppy, the side of fries was nothing to write home about. This was at 12:30 on a weekday, with just a few other occupied tables, so I don't think it's because the staff was over-committed.
